Persib Bandung parts ways with striker Dimas Drajad and adds defender Sandy Walsh
Persib Bandung announced that striker Dimas Drajad will leave the club after his contract expired at the end of the 2025/2026 season. Drajad joined Persib at the start of the 2024/2025 campaign, made 17 appearances, scored two goals and helped the team win the Liga 1 title in 2024/2025. After a loan spell at Malut United, he was not retained for the upcoming season.
At the same time, Persib confirmed the signing of defender Sandy Walsh. The 31‑year‑old former Indonesia international spent his early career at Belgian side KRC Genk, where he played alongside European stars such as Leandro Trossard, Timothy Castagne and Wilfred Ndidi. He also spent the previous season with Buriram United in Thailand, featuring in five competitions. Walsh said he aims to share European work‑ethic and experience with Persib’s younger players as the club targets a fourth consecutive league title.
