Persib Bandung prepares for 2026/2027 season amid Bali training camp

Persib Bandung is preparing for the 2026/2027 BRI Super League season under new head coach Igor Tolic. The defending champions have released their season schedule, which begins in September 2026 with a match against PSM Makassar.

As part of their preseason preparations, the team is conducting a training camp in Bali. Physical trainer Karlo Reinholz noted that training intensity is being managed to balance fitness gains with upcoming friendly matches in the Dewata Challenge Series. The team is scheduled to face Sabah FC on August 15 and Bali United on August 18.

Due to injuries and national team call-ups, Persib will not be able to field its strongest lineup for the match against Sabah FC. Currently, 14 players are unavailable, including several national team players resting and others like Berguinho and Luchiano Guaycochea undergoing injury recovery.
