Persib Bandung prepares for ACL Two playoff against Manila Digger

Persib Bandung is intensifying preparations for their AFC Champions League Two (ACL Two) playoff match against Manila Digger, scheduled for August 31, 2026, at Si Jalak Harupat Stadium. Due to an AFC sanction, the match will be held without spectators.

Coach Igor Tolic noted that the team has limited preparation time, as their recent stint in Bali focused more on matches than intensive training camps. While several players are returning to the squad, including Marc Klok and Saddil Ramdani, Tolic expressed concerns regarding certain players still recovering from injuries.

Winger Saddil Ramdani expressed optimism, stating that playing at home provides a motivational advantage despite the lack of fans. A victory would secure Persib a spot in the ACL Two group stage alongside FC Seoul, Melbourne Victory, and The Cong.
