Persib Bandung secures third consecutive Super League championship

Persib Bandung won the 2025/2026 Super League title after a 0‑0 draw with Persijap Jepara on 23 May 2026, finishing the season on 79 points and ahead of Borneo FC. The victory marks the first time an Indonesian club has claimed the national top‑tier title three seasons in a row in the professional era, bringing Persib’s total to ten top‑flight trophies.

Coach Bojan Hodak recorded a hat‑trick of league titles with Persib, joining Stefano Cugurra as the only coaches to win three consecutive Indonesian league crowns—though Cugurra achieved his with two different clubs. Assistant coach Igor Tolic warned the squad not to celebrate prematurely, reminding them that the championship was not yet secured until the final minutes of the match. Reports also suggest Hodak may leave the club after the season.

The championship also secured Persib’s dominance over rivals, adding another point to its lead over Borneo FC, who simultaneously recorded a 7‑1 win over Malut United.
