Persib Bandung prepares to sign striker Mariano Peralta

Persib Bandung announced that it will unveil a new signing after July 10, 2026, with club commissioner Umuh Muchtur hinting that the player is likely striker Mariano Peralta, the former Borneo FC forward and the 2025‑2026 Super League top scorer.

International football journalist Lorenzo Lepore reported on X that an oral agreement was reached last week and that Peralta is expected to sign a contract in the coming days. Sports analyst Eko Maung confirmed that, despite agent‑related fee issues, Persib is the most likely destination, noting that the club’s participation in the AFC Champions League and ASEAN Club Championships offers the player greater regional exposure than Persija Jakarta, which only competes domestically.

The club has already introduced several new faces for the 2026/27 season and is allocating a significant budget to strengthen the squad, aiming to contend for the league title.
