Persib Bandung hires Croatian coaches and adds new players for 2026/27 season

Indonesian club Persib Bandung announced a major overhaul of its technical staff and playing roster ahead of the 2026/27 campaign. The club appointed two Croatians – former goalkeeper‑coach Zlatko Runje as assistant coach and Karlo Reinholz as fitness coach – to support head coach Igor Tolic as the team prepares for a packed schedule that includes the Super League, League Cup, ASEAN Club Championship and AFC Champions League Two.

In addition to the staff changes, Persib completed several player signings. Dutch‑born Indonesian international forward Ragnar Oratmangoen signed a three‑year contract, Japanese midfielder Gakuto Notsuda joined the squad, and defender Gabriel Mutombo was added, taking the number‑3 shirt. The acquisitions are described as part of a strategy to boost the club’s competitiveness both domestically and in Asian competitions.
