Bali to Host Semifinals and Final of Indonesia's Piala Presiden 2026 as Prize Increases to Rp8 Billion

The Indonesian Football Association (PSSI) and the tournament steering committee have confirmed that the semifinals and final of the 2026 Piala Presiden will be held in Bali, at the Stadion Kapten I Wayan Dipta in Gianyar. The semifinals are set for 4 August 2026, with the final scheduled for 6 August 2026. Four clubs – Persib Bandung, Persija Jakarta, Persebaya Surabaya and Arema FC – have qualified for the knockout stage.

The champion’s prize has been raised from Rp6 billion to Rp8 billion, funded by sponsor contributions that have now reached Rp70 billion. All matches will be broadcast live on Indosiar and streamed on Vidio, but the organizing committee has decided not to sell tickets for the semifinals, citing security concerns amid intense supporter rivalries. The venue change to Bali follows earlier plans to host the decisive games in Surabaya, and the decision was announced by steering‑committee chair Maruarar Sirait in coordination with PSSI president Erick Thohir.
