Persija Jakarta defeats PSIM Yogyakarta 4-0 in Super League

Persija Jakarta secured a 4-0 victory against PSIM Yogyakarta during the fourth week of the 2026/2027 BRI Super League at Sultan Agung Stadium. The goals were scored by Alexander Jeremejeff in the 77th minute, Stjepan Loncar in the 81st and 90+3rd minutes, and Kwon Chang-hoon in the 87th minute.

Persija coach Shin Tae-yong explained that captain Rizky Ridho was not included in the starting lineup due to accumulated fatigue following his participation in the 2026 FIFA ASEAN Cup with the Indonesian national team. Ridho eventually entered the match in the 75th minute, replacing Fabio Calonego, and resumed his captaincy from Radovan Pankov. Additionally, Shayne Pattynama was absent from the squad as he requires more time to adapt to the team's tactics after returning from national team duties.

Following the match, Shin Tae-yong expressed gratitude to the Jakmania supporters for traveling from Jakarta to provide motivation, noting that such support is vital for the team's pursuit of the league title.
