Persija Jakarta extends striker Eksel Runtukahu and signs goalkeeper Aqil Savik for 2026‑27 season

Persija Jakarta announced the renewal of striker Eksel Runtukahu’s contract through the 2026/27 season, citing his contribution of six goals and one assist in 23 appearances during the 2025/26 campaign. President Mohamad Prapanca said, “Musim lalu Eksel dapat menjawab kepercayaan kami dengan baik. Kami sangat mengapresiasinya,” and expressed confidence that the forward will help the club chase the title next season.

The club also completed the acquisition of goalkeeper Aqil Savik from Bhayangkara FC on a one‑year deal, replacing former foreign keeper Carlos Eduardo. Savik, a 1999‑born Bandung native, is expected to strengthen Persija’s defensive line ahead of the upcoming Super League.

Both moves are part of Persija’s strategy to bolster the squad for the 2026‑27 Indonesian Super League season.
