Persija Jakarta loans Van Basty Sousa to Borneo FC

Persija Jakarta midfielder Van Basty Sousa has been loaned to Borneo FC for the 2026/2027 Super League season. The 31-year-old Brazilian player, who made 29 appearances and recorded one goal and three assists for Persija last season, moves to Borneo FC to gain more playing time. Persija Manager Ardhi Tjahjoko expressed hope that the move would serve as a significant experience for the player's career development.
