Persib Bandung seeks Super League crown in decisive clash with Persijap Jepara

The final round of Indonesia's BRI Super League 2025/2026 is set for Saturday 23 May 2026 at Gelora Bandung Lautan Api. Persib Bandung enter the match top of the table with 78 points and need only a draw to clinch a third consecutive league title. Coach Julio Cesar and striker Ramon Tanque stressed the importance of staying focused and not underestimating Persijap Jepara, who are eager to spoil Persib’s celebrations. A Persib loss could allow Borneo FC to overtake them if Persijap wins.

Meanwhile, Persija Jakarta, managed by Ardhi Tjahjoko, is preparing for a separate final‑day fixture against relegated Semen Padang at Jakarta International Stadium. Persija, out of the title race, aim to finish the season on a high note after ending third with 68 points. Ardhi said he may step down after the season, citing responsibility for the club’s failure to win the championship.

Both matches will determine final standings and future plans for the clubs involved.
