Persik Kediri adds three foreign signings for 2026/27 season

Indonesian Liga 1 club Persik Kediri announced the recruitment of three new foreign players ahead of the 2026/27 season. Defender Park Jun Heong, a 33‑year‑old South Korean who previously played for Malaysia's Johor Darul Ta'zim, joins alongside Brazilian midfielder Marcelo Djalo. The club also secured Spanish striker Sergio Castel, 31, to strengthen its attacking options.

Sport Director Razzi Taruna said the signings were the result of thorough evaluation of the players' quality, character and mentality, and that they will help the team improve on the previous season. With these additions Persik Kediri now fields six foreign players, expanding an existing Spanish contingent that includes Imanol Garcia, Jon Toral, Ernesto Gomez and Jose Enrique.
