Persita Tangerang targets top eight finish in Super League

Persita Tangerang has announced its goals and squad for the 2026/2027 Super League season during a team launch in Tangerang. Club President Ahmed Zaki Iskandar set a target for the team to finish within the top eight of the competition.

Head coach Carlos Pena expressed ambition to lead the team as high as possible in the standings, noting that while there is no immediate pressure to win the title, the club is focused on steady progress. This follows a previous season where Pena led the team to a top-ten finish with 45 points.

The club has bolstered its roster with six new players for the 2026 transfer window, including Sutanto Tan, Zalnando, Wahyudi Hamisi, Luquinhas, Tyronne del Pino, and Alexandre Ramalingon. This brings the total number of foreign players on the squad to ten for the upcoming season.
