Steam API leak reveals details for Persona 6 and Kingdom Hearts IV

A major data leak involving Valve’s Steam API has exposed achievement lists for dozens of unreleased and unannounced video games. The incident, reportedly caused by a technical error following a maintenance window, allowed third-party tracking sites like Exophase and SteamDB to index private data that should have remained hidden.

Among the most significant revelations are details regarding Persona 6 and Kingdom Hearts IV. For Persona 6, leaked achievement descriptions suggest new story elements and characters. For Kingdom Hearts IV, the leak appears to confirm several previously unannounced worlds, including potential settings based on Star Wars, Zootopia, and Haunted Mansion, alongside existing locations like Toy Story’s Toy Box.

Other titles surfaced in the leak include Mega Man: Dual Override, Gears of War: E-Day, and various unannounced projects from Nickelodeon and Telltale Games. Separately, Atlus officially confirmed during a Nintendo Direct that Persona 6 and Persona 4 Revival are slated for the Nintendo Switch 2, with Persona 4 Revival expected on the console in May 2027.
