Personal artifacts found in martyr graves in Quang Ngai

During the process of excavating and collecting remains for DNA testing at the Ba To Martyrs Cemetery in Quang Ngai province, authorities discovered several personal artifacts that may assist in identifying fallen soldiers.

At grave site number 32, officials found a small album containing handwritten names, possibly Nguyen Van Thuan or Nguyen Van Tuan, along with a serial number and a portrait of a woman. At grave site number 12, a leather wallet inscribed with the name Dinh Xuan Me was recovered.

While the items are aged and damaged, officials believe the portrait may depict a relative of a martyr and the wallet likely belonged to a soldier. The Quang Ngai Military Command is preserving these items and restoring the photograph to help families, comrades, or acquaintances provide information to aid in the identification process.
