Journalist and speaker Minusch Afonso discussed her career trajectory and personal setbacks, including a breast cancer diagnosis in her early 30s. Originally from Gunzenhausen, Afonso transitioned from being unemployed at age 15 to working for public broadcasters and hosting the News-WG for Bayerischer Rundfunk, where she reaches a large audience on social media.

Antje Backes, a resident of Merzig, shared her experience surviving melanoma. Diagnosed at age 38 after a routine doctor's visit, Backes now advocates for sun safety and has founded a self-help group to support other patients navigating skin cancer.
