STVR launches AUDIO STVR digital audio platform

Slovak public broadcaster STVR has launched AUDIO STVR, a new free, ad-free digital audio-on-demand platform. The service serves as a massive digital library for Slovak audio content, centralizing nearly 100,000 episodes from various sources.

The platform includes content from all Slovak Radio programming services, such as podcasts, live broadcasts, and hundreds of fairy tales for children. It offers over one million minutes of material, including specific radio productions that are unavailable on commercial streaming platforms due to licensing restrictions.

STVR General Director Martina Flašíková stated that the project aims to ensure high-quality content is accessible in a way that meets modern audience habits. The platform features a modern user interface designed to simplify searching and listening across news, education, culture, and music.
