Personio integrates with Walter! to automate IT device management

Personio has announced a new integration with the IT management startup Walter! to automate the management of employee hardware devices. The collaboration aims to reduce the administrative burden on HR and IT teams, particularly for tech companies and startups with 50 to 1,000 employees.

The integration allows for the automatic synchronization of employee onboarding and offboarding data between both platforms. Walter! centralizes the entire lifecycle of devices—including shipping, maintenance, and returns—across more than 150 countries, with management times ranging between 24 and 48 hours. Additionally, the system provides automated recommendations for purchasing or leasing equipment and allows for provisional reservations during the ordering process.
