Pertagas and PGN secure gas supply contract from EMP Bentu through 2031

PT Pertamina Gas (Pertagas) has signed a natural gas sale and purchase agreement with EMP Bentu Limited and PT Perusahaan Gas Negara (Persero) Tbk (PGN). The contract, which remains valid until December 31, 2031, involves a supply volume of 2 to 3 BBTUD from the EMP Bentu working area.

The gas supply is intended to meet the needs of Pertagas and PGN customers, specifically supporting oil production lifting sectors in Siak, Riau. Pertagas Director Utama Indra P Sembiring stated that the cooperation aims to optimize gas fulfillment for the oil lifting sector and support national lifting targets.

Additionally, the initiative is designed to support national energy self-sufficiency and decarbonization efforts toward the 2060 net zero emission target. The agreement was signed by representatives from Pertagas, EMP Bentu Limited, and PGN, witnessed by the Head of SKK Migas.
