Pertagas and PLN EPI launch Jakarta educational programs for National Children's Day

Pertamina Gas (Pertagas) organized a "Jakarta Discovery Day" on 25 July 2026, taking 25 primary‑school students on a Transjakarta double‑deck bus to visit historic sites across the capital. The outing was part of the company’s employee‑volunteer programme “Satu Senyum, Sejuta Energi” and aimed to provide experiential learning about Jakarta’s history, culture and diversity.

On 24 July 2026, PT PLN Energi Primer Indonesia (PLN EPI) held its "Srikandi Mengajar" initiative at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Hidayatul Anam in Kuningan, Jakarta. Dozens of pupils from grades 1‑6 participated in interactive sessions on energy literacy, including presentations, games, videos and simple simulations of electricity supply and safety. The activity, part of the Srikandi Movement’s "Srikandi Goes to School" programme, also sought to showcase female role models in science and technology.

Both events were timed to National Children’s Day (Hari Anak Nasional) 2026 and reflect corporate social‑responsibility efforts to enrich education outside the classroom.
