Pertamina boosts LPG deliveries in South Sulawesi and finishes 777‑bpd oil well in Prabumulih

Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Sulawesi increased subsidised 3 kg LPG shipments by up to 34 percent on 31 July 2026 in the South Sulawesi districts of Bone, Sidrap, Soppeng and Wajo. The extra dropping was based on monitoring that showed higher consumption driven by agricultural activity. Sales managers Wahyu Purwatmo Budi Utomo and Mulian Pratama said the company will monitor distribution for a week and urged consumers to purchase only from official stations.

Pertamina Drilling Services Indonesia (PDSI) completed drilling of well KRG‑042 in the Karangan structure of the Limau field, about 20 km southeast of Prabumulih, South Sumatra. An initial production test on 16 July 2026 recorded 777 barrels of oil per day using an electric submersible pump. The well reached a measured depth of 1,697 m, was finished in 25 days—faster than the 28‑day target—and cost US$3.18 million (approximately 76 % of the authorized budget), with zero accidents. The output is expected to strengthen domestic oil supply.
