Pertamina builds boreholes in Manggarai to provide clean water

Pertamina (Persero) has constructed two new boreholes in the Reok District of Manggarai, East Nusa Tenggara, to provide clean water to 153 households following a recent earthquake. The project aims to provide a sustainable water source for residents who previously had to travel nearly two kilometers to access water for drinking and household needs.

The first borehole, located in Mata Air, reaches a depth of 32 meters and serves 85 families as well as the Reok Police Station. The second borehole in Wangkung Village is 28 meters deep and supports 68 families, a local church, and several schools. Both sites are equipped with water towers, 1,100-liter tanks, pumps, and piping networks to allow direct delivery to homes and public facilities.
