Pertamina Hulu Energi reports increased oil and gas production through September 2026

PT Pertamina Hulu Energi (PHE) reported positive operational performance for the year-to-date period ending September 2026. The company achieved an oil and gas production realization of 945,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day (MBOEPD), consisting of 467,000 barrels of oil per day (MBOPD) and 2,762 million standard cubic feet of gas per day (MMSCFD).

In its exploration activities, PHE completed the drilling of 14 exploration wells and conducted extensive seismic surveys. The company successfully discovered contingent resources (2C) totaling 333 million barrels of oil equivalent (MMBOE), comprising 206 MMBOE of oil and 127 MMBOE of gas. Additionally, proven reserves (P1) increased by 72 MMBOE.

Operational efforts included 443 exploitation wells, 943 workover operations, and 22,585 well service tasks. Corporate Secretary Hermansyah Y Nasroen stated that these results demonstrate a commitment to national energy security through sustainable production and continuous exploration.
