Pertamina opens first specialized agricultural gas station in Merauke

Pertamina Patra Niaga, in collaboration with the Merauke Regency Government, has established the first specialized gas station for the agricultural sector in Eastern Indonesia. Located in Kampung Amunkay, Tanah Miring District, the facility is designated to meet the fuel needs of agricultural machinery and equipment.

The appointment was formalized through a Merauke Regent Decree to support national food self-sufficiency goals. The fuel distribution at this station will follow existing regulations, including the requirement for recommendation letters as stipulated by Presidential Regulation Number 191 of 2014 and BPH Migas provisions. The distribution mechanism is integrated with the local Agriculture Office to ensure data-based subsidized fuel delivery.
