Pertamina Lubricants adopts production automation to boost competitiveness

PT Pertamina Lubricants is enhancing its national and global competitiveness by implementing modern production technology and automation across its facilities. The company operates three lubricant plants in Indonesia, located in Jakarta, Gresik, and Cilacap, as well as one international plant in Thailand.

The Jakarta production unit is the largest, with an annual capacity of 270,000 kiloliters. According to Corporate Secretary Rika Gresia Wahyudi, these facilities are vital for meeting domestic industrial and consumer needs while strengthening the brand's position in the global market.

To navigate a highly competitive industry featuring over 200 registered lubricant brands, the company is focusing on innovation and quality. Pertamina Lubricants currently exports its products to 16 countries, supported by a domestic distribution network consisting of seven sales regions and more than 100 distributors.
