Pertamina Mandalika Racing Series fuels rise of Indonesian Moto talent

The Pertamina Mandalika Racing Series (MRS), held at the Pertamina Mandalika International Circuit, is positioned as a key development platform for young Indonesian motorcycle racers. Round 3 of the national championship took place on 25–26 July 2026, showcasing the series’ role in sharpening riders’ skills, mental toughness and race experience needed for international competition.

Former participants now competing abroad include Veda Ega Pratama, the 2023 Asia Talent Cup champion who later became runner‑up in the Red Bull Rookies Cup and raced in Moto3; Muhammad Kiandra Ramadhipa, who races in the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup and Moto3 Junior; and Fadillah Arbi Aditama, the first Indonesian to win an FIM JuniorGP Moto3 race in Catalunya (2023) and a former World Moto3 contender, now moving to the Supersport 600 class with Astra Honda Racing. Riders credit the series for building both technical ability and the mental mindset required for international success.
