Pertamina NRE reports 6.2 million safe working hours

Pertamina New & Renewable Energy (Pertamina NRE) has reported achieving 6,293,683 safe working hours as part of its efforts to strengthen Health, Safety, Security & Environment (HSSE) culture. The achievement includes 1,794,240 hours from employees and 4,499,443 hours from partners, maintaining a Total Recordable Incident Rate (TRIR) of 0.00 and zero fatal accidents.

To prevent major accidents, the company held the Grand HSSE Meeting SH PNRE 2026 at PT Jawa Satu Power in Karawang. The forum focused on safety leadership, risk control, and operational discipline. Pertamina NRE President Director John Anis emphasized that preventing major accidents requires consistent leadership and commitment from all workers, not just the HSSE function. The company utilizes three Golden Rules—Obey, Intervene, and Care—to encourage compliance, the courage to stop unsafe conditions, and increased awareness of colleague and environmental safety.
