Pertamina drives UMKM export push, SAF and hydrogen pilots, and trims fuel prices

Pertamina Patra Niaga showcased twelve micro, small and medium enterprises (UMKM) at the Food & Hospitality Indonesia (FHI) 2026 exhibition in Jakarta, promoting their food‑beverage and amenities products to hotel, restaurant and café buyers and enabling international market exposure.

The company’s GARBATERA community programme in Balongan, Indramayu, marked its first anniversary by delivering health, nutrition and income benefits: dengue‑prevention training for 30 health volunteers, supplementary feeding for 400 children, a "Bincang Sehat" outreach to 45 cadres, and a solar‑power plant for local enterprises that lifted household earnings by about Rp300 000 per month.

Pertamina Patra Niaga also advanced its Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) agenda, presenting at the 3rd Indonesia Aero Summit and reporting a sales contract with an international airline, alongside ongoing trials with Garuda Indonesia and Pelita Air. In parallel, the firm announced the development of a hydrogen hub in North Sumatra capable of producing 4 000 kg of hydrogen daily, as part of a national hydrogen ecosystem.

On the commercial side, Pertamina lowered the prices of its non‑subsidised fuels – Pertamax Turbo, Dex and Dexlite – effective 1 July 2026, citing global oil market dynamics and fiscal considerations. The adjustments were complemented by a statement that avtur prices also fell.

Finally, the Pertamina P3DN Summit 2026 highlighted the firm’s role in boosting domestic product use, citing an economic impact of roughly Rp1.4 trillion and supporting around 4.5 million jobs.
