Pertamina Patra Niaga Grants Rp250 Million to Four East Kalimantan Students
PT Pertamina Patra Niaga (PT PPN) provided a total of Rp250 million in education assistance to four students from Penajam Paser Utara, East Kalimantan, who are studying at the Politeknik Energi dan Mineral Akamigas in Cepu, Central Java. The funds were handed over by Regent Mudyat Noor in a ceremony in Cepu on 1 August, highlighting the company's corporate‑social‑responsibility program aimed at improving human‑resource quality in the energy sector. The assistance is intended to support the students' vocational training and to prepare a skilled workforce for Indonesia’s growing energy industry, especially as the new capital city (IKN) borders the region.
The partnership involves the local government, the polytechnic, and PT PPN, with the Regent emphasizing the importance of collaborative efforts to develop competent graduates for the industry. The CSR initiative reflects PT PPN’s broader commitment to education and regional development.
