Pertamina Patra Niaga hosts regional cooking competition in Tegal

Bright Gas Cooking Competition Pertamina Patra Niaga Indonesian culinary heritage cooking competition LPG usage

PT Pertamina Patra Niaga held the regional semifinal of the Bright Gas Cooking Competition (BGCC) 2026 in Tegal, Central Java. The event, themed 'Warisan Rasa Nusantara dari Hati,' aimed to promote Indonesian culinary heritage and increase awareness of Bright Gas products among the public and the hospitality sector.

The competition saw significant participation, with 393 online and 467 offline participants. From a pool of hundreds, 40 finalists competed on stage, using squid and shrimp as secret ingredients. Professional chefs Joko Patriot and Yuda Bustara served as judges.

Devan Andhika Saputra secured first place, followed by Feli Sitta Mayasari in second and Bobby Utomo Putra in third. The winners received cash prizes, Bright Gas canisters, and premium cookware. These winners will represent Tegal in the BGCC 2026 Grand Final in Jakarta this November, where they will compete for hundreds of millions of rupiah and a culinary course at Le Cordon Bleu in Thailand.
