Mandalika MotoGP 2026: Energy and logistics preparations intensify

Preparations are intensifying for the MotoGP Mandalika 2026, scheduled for October 9–11 in Lombok Tengah, West Nusa Tenggara. Key infrastructure and service providers are mobilizing to support the international event.

PT PLN (Persero) has deployed hundreds of personnel and prepared equipment, including Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS) and mobile substations, to ensure electrical reliability. The Lombok power system is prepared with a capacity of 438 MW, providing a 47 MW reserve above the projected peak load of 391 MW.

PT Pertamina (Persero) is increasing fuel supplies by 20–30 percent along tourist routes and near the circuit. To manage demand, seven gas stations have been designated in Lombok Tengah, Lombok Barat, and Mataram, supported by five ships with a total capacity of 34,400 kiloliters. Additionally, Pelita Air is providing ten extra flights between Jakarta and Lombok.

InJourney Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC) has opened ticket exchange locations at the former Selaparang Airport, Bazaar Mandalika, and Lombok International Airport. Spectators are encouraged to exchange tickets early to avoid congestion during the race weekend.
