Pertamina strengthens fuel supplies in East Nusa Tenggara after earthquake

PT Pertamina Patra Niaga is strengthening fuel supplies in East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) following an earthquake on August 15, 2026. The MT Musi vessel recently docked at the Reo Fuel Terminal to deliver 200,000 liters of Pertalite to secure energy needs for the Manggarai Raya region.

This delivery marks the fourth vessel to dock at the Reo terminal since August 18. Since the earthquake, approximately 2,000,000 liters of various fuel types, including Pertamax, Pertalite, Biosolar, and Avtur, have been distributed through the terminal. The current stock at the terminal is being maintained at safe levels to ensure continuous availability.

To address land distribution challenges caused by broken road access in East Manggarai, the company has implemented mitigation strategies. This includes transferring fuel from tank trucks into drums to transport them across damaged bridges and roads to reach gas stations.
