Pertamina terminates operator over fuel subsidy fraud in Bulungan

PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Kalimantan has taken disciplinary action following the discovery of fraudulent license plate usage at a gas station in Bulungan. Investigations revealed that a truck used a fake or overlaid license plate to mismatch its identity during fuel transactions, an act suspected of being a method to misuse subsidized fuel.

As a result, the operator found responsible has been terminated, and the vehicle's license plate has been removed from Pertamina's system to prevent it from refueling at any station. The company is continuing to investigate all transactions involving the vehicle.
