Kriyanusa 2026 exhibition promotes Indonesian crafts and MSMEs

The Kriyanusa 2026 craft exhibition is being held at the Jakarta Convention Center from September 26 to 30, 2026. Organized by the National Crafts Council (Dekranas), the event features 410 booths and 257 participants, including regional councils, ministries, and MSME entrepreneurs. Under the theme ‘Create Sustainable Craft, Artisans Go Global’, the exhibition aims to promote Indonesian handicrafts as vital components of the nation's cultural wealth and creative economy.

Selvi Gibran Rakabuming, Chair of Dekranas, emphasized the importance of innovation, creativity, and digital transformation to help artisans remain competitive on a global stage while preserving traditional roots. Committee Chair Ayu Heni Rosan noted that the event serves as a space to bridge tradition with contemporary market needs through technology and innovation.

Several organizations are participating to support local businesses. Pertamina is showcasing products from four of its mentored MSMEs, including Ayu Windy Tenun Ikat, Songket Ilham Bahari, Songket Permata, and Ronald Moreno. Additionally, the Jayapura City Regional Crafts Council (Dekranasda) is presenting local Papuan products to expand their market reach from regional to international levels.
