Perth fuel prices slip as five stations sell unleaded under $1.75

Five service stations in PerthVibe outlets at Wanneroo, Bullsbrook and the Oakford truck stop, plus Costco locations in Casuarina and Perth Airport – are pricing unleaded petrol below $1.75 per litre on Wednesday, keeping the city’s average price just under $1.95. At the opposite end, BP stations in Mindarie, Mullaloo, Henley Brook, Greenwood and Beldon are the most expensive, selling at $2.04.

The average diesel price is set to rise by 1 cent to $2.27. The current 16‑cent‑per‑litre fuel excise relief is due to end on Sunday, which is expected to push pump prices higher. The federal government had earlier cut the excise by 32 cents to ease the spike in fuel costs, but the relief will be removed as the temporary measure expires.
