Perth woman wins $1 million Lotto jackpot

A woman in her 50s from Perth’s southern suburbs has won a $1 million Millionaire Medley jackpot. She was the sole winner in Western Australia for the early October draw.

The winner initially believed she had only won $315 before realizing she had matched all the numbers on a different line. She stated the windfall would be used to pay off her mortgage, support her husband’s small business, and provide for her children’s future.

To celebrate, she plans to take three generations of her family to the iconic C Restaurant in Perth before the venue closes in late January.
