Perticari High School reopens gyms for sports clubs in Senigallia

The administration of Perticari High School has resolved a deadlock regarding the use of provincial school gyms in Senigallia. Following intervention by the school principal and the president of the Institute Council, the two gyms will be temporarily made available to sports clubs starting next Monday while formal agreements are finalized.

The situation has highlighted challenges in implementing the Berruto Law (Law 53 of 2026), known as ‘Palestre Aperte’. Critics noted that public administrations should facilitate direct access to public facilities for sports clubs without placing the administrative burden on schools. The goal of the legislation is to ensure sports facilities are accessible to young athletes 365 days a year.
