Peru and Ecuador trade events draw buyers from 18 countries
Promperú organized the Industria Perú 2026 business round, featuring 100 Peruvian companies and 90 international buyers from 18 nations. About 95% of the Peruvian participants are micro, small and medium enterprises, focusing on sectors such as packaging, industrial equipment, mining and construction, as well as personal care and health. The event aims to generate $25 million in commercial opportunities and over 1,000 business meetings, building on previous editions that have produced thousands of export contacts.
In parallel, more than 60 Ecuadorian firms took part in a Guayaquil business round coordinated by PRO Ecuador, meeting Peruvian buyers interested in processed foods, beverages, cleaning products, personal care items and dairy. The initiative seeks to expand Ecuadorian exports into the Peruvian market, strengthen bilateral trade ties and showcase the country's production quality and innovation.
Both events serve to boost regional trade, connect SMEs with foreign buyers, and diversify export markets for Peru and Ecuador.
