Peru authorities investigate multiple regional crime incidents

Authorities in Peru are investigating several distinct criminal incidents across different regions. In Puno, police have detained a 27-year-old man, Franz Junior R. H., as the primary suspect in the suspected femicide of 21-year-old Luz Anghela P. T. The victim's family reported that she had been subjected to physical, psychological, and economic violence prior to her death.

In the Huaura province, two women were found dead inside the cargo area of a truck traveling from Lima to Hualmay. The bodies were discovered by the driver upon arrival at the market destination. Criminal investigators and the Public Ministry are working to determine the exact cause of death.

In the Santiago district of Ica, three men were found unconscious in the Santa Matilde sector. Preliminary reports suggest the victims may have been drugged and robbed of their belongings, including mobile phones, while traveling toward Lima.
