In Peru, the Special Electoral Jury (JEE) of Cajamarca has excluded candidate Joaquín Ramírez and the entire Cajamarca Renace Regional Political Movement from the 2026 regional and municipal elections. Because the electoral software is prepared centrally for the entire country, candidates who failed to complete these procedures in time will still appear on the voting machine screens.
