Peru exporting companies grow 3.4% through July 2026

The number of Peruvian exporting companies grew by 3.4% between January and July 2026, reaching a total of 7,731 entities. This represents an increase from the 7,476 companies recorded during the same period in the previous year, according to a report by the Center for Economic and Global Business Research of the Association of Exporters (CIEN-ADEX) using Sunat data.

Key sectors driving these exports include agroindustry, traditional mining, metalworking, and chemicals. While micro and small enterprises (mypes) make up the vast majority of the exporting fabric—representing 89.3% of the total number of companies—they account for only 3.7% of the total FOB value, which reached US$ 63.521 billion.

During this period, 2,501 companies entered international markets, while 2,246 stopped exporting. The core exporting group, consisting of companies with uninterrupted shipments since 2000, included 312 entities.
