Peru gaming market shows diverse consumer trends
In Peru, the gaming community shows diverse consumer behaviors ranging from casual players to competitive users seeking specialized equipment. According to Coolbox, 57% of connected Peruvians play video games, with 37% playing at least four days a week.
Marcelo Bazán, CEO of Coolbox Peru and Mexico, noted that this diversity influences technological offerings. While casual users prioritize versatility and ease of use, specialized players focus on precision, connection stability, ergonomics, and response times. In 2026, gaming mice have seen the highest growth in the category, followed by headsets, keyboards, controllers, and gaming chairs.
