Peru hosts major tourism expos to boost international business
Peru is hosting major tourism industry events aimed at strengthening international commercial ties and promoting specialized travel sectors.
PROMPERÚ, in collaboration with the Peruvian Association of Adventure Tourism, Ecotourism and Specialized Tourism (APTAE), has announced the second Peru Outdoor Expo. Scheduled to take place in the Amazonas region from September 25 to October 2, the event focuses on adventure and nature tourism. The expo will facilitate business meetings between 40 Peruvian entrepreneurs and 40 international tour operators and media representatives from countries including the United States, Canada, France, Germany, the United Kingdom, Brazil, Colombia, Argentina, Chile, and Australia.
Additionally, the tenth edition of the National and International Tourism Fair (FIAVIT 2026) has inaugurated. Attended by approximately 130 national and international exhibitors, the fair serves as a platform for tourism professionals, authorities, and the diplomatic corps to showcase travel offerings and establish connections with potential investors and industry stakeholders.
