Peru Migraciones suspends electronic passport issuance for maintenance

The National Superintendency of Migrations in Peru has announced a temporary suspension of electronic passport issuance due to scheduled technical maintenance. The service interruption will occur on Sunday, September 13, from 00:00 to 04:00.

The maintenance involves work on the digital platform and technological infrastructure that supports the passport issuance process. This suspension applies to all national offices, including the agency located at Jorge Chávez International Airport.

Authorities have urged travelers, particularly those planning to use the Callao airport terminal during those hours, to take necessary precautions to avoid delays or complications with scheduled flights.
