Peru national team replaces injured Fabio Gruber with Alfonso Barco

The Peruvian Football Federation (FPF) has announced that defender Fabio Gruber has been removed from the national team squad due to an injury. Gruber, who plays for Mainz 05 in the Bundesliga, was called up by coach Mano Menezes but will now miss the upcoming international friendly tour in North America.

Alfonso Barco, currently playing for HNK Rijeka in Croatia, has been named as the replacement for Gruber. Barco was initially left out of the 26-man roster due to concerns regarding his recent playing time, but he will now join the squad for matches against the United States, Mexico, Canada, and Colombia.
