Peru: November CTS deposit deadline set for November 16

Companies under the general labor regime in Peru have until Monday, November 16, 2026, to deposit the Compensation for Time of Services (CTS) for the May-October period. The deadline was moved to the following business day because November 15 falls on a Sunday, according to Álvaro Gálvez of the Lima Chamber of Commerce.

Private sector workers are eligible if they work an average of at least four hours per day, have completed at least one month of service, and maintained an employment relationship throughout the computable semester. Part-time workers, those with an average workday of less than four hours, and those receiving an annual integral remuneration that already includes this benefit are excluded.

Additionally, workers in micro-enterprises registered under Remype who were hired after the registration are not eligible, though those hired prior to registration retain their rights. The calculation is based on the October computable remuneration plus one-sixth of the July bonus and other legal remunerative concepts.
