Peru promotes entrepreneurship with ASEP virtual fair and tourism grant contest
The Association of Small Enterprises (ASEP) will host a virtual fair, "Emprende Perú ASEP 2026," on Saturday, 25 July. Up to 20 formally registered entrepreneurs can present their businesses in five‑minute Facebook Live slots after a free registration that ends on 6 July.
Separately, the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism (MINCETUR) announced a public competition in Arequipa, offering up to S/100,000 non‑refundable grants to tourism micro‑ and small‑enterprises. Applications are open until 13:00 hours on 17 July, with the submission deadline on 21 July. The contest, part of the "Turismo Emprende" program, pools S/7 million to support innovative projects in hotels, restaurants, and travel agencies across the country.
