Peru promotes judicial cooperation with Bolivia and Honduras

The Peruvian Judiciary is pursuing international cooperation initiatives with the judicial branches of Bolivia and Honduras to modernize justice services. Ulises Augusto Yaya Zumaeta, president of the Fifth Transitory Chamber of Constitutional and Social Law of the Supreme Court, has held coordination meetings with judicial authorities from both nations.

The goal is to sign memorandums of understanding to establish permanent spaces for cooperation. Key areas of focus include the exchange of jurisdictional experiences, jurisprudence, and training programs. Additionally, the initiative emphasizes digital transformation and the responsible use of emerging technologies, specifically artificial intelligence applied to the administration of justice, while maintaining judicial independence and ethics.
