In a protocol meeting at the Government Palace, Balcázar said each ministry is “cumpliendo con entregar la información correspondiente” and highlighted the need for continuity amid challenges such as public insecurity and preparation for El Niño.

Prime Minister Luis Arroyo also pledged an orderly transition, stating the executive will “entregaremos un país con instituciones operativas y con la democracia plenamente resguardada.” During the ceremony marking the 29th anniversary of the National Police’s Criminalistics Directorate, Arroyo inaugurated a new Digital Forensic Laboratory, part of an S/ 49 million project to establish 11 such sites nationwide, aiming to modernise police investigations and decentralise resources.
