Sabesp and Banco Mercantil launch youth apprenticeship programs in Brazil
Several Brazilian organizations have announced new apprenticeship opportunities for young people. Sabesp is offering 256 positions across nine municipalities in São Paulo, including 20 administrative roles in Santos. The program, held in partnership with Senai-SP, includes 185 administrative vacancies and 71 technical roles in fields such as Chemistry, Electrotechnics, and Sanitation. Priority is given to youth from communities near Sabesp's operations.
Additionally, Banco Mercantil has opened approximately 100 vacancies through its ‘Acelera Aprendiz’ program. These roles are available nationwide for individuals aged 16 to 23 who are currently enrolled in high school, technical, or professional training. The positions cover both agency and administrative sectors, with workdays of four or six hours to allow for continued studies. Contracts can last up to 24 months.
